I got a call from my doctors office today and was told my test came back positive for diabetes and that I should see a specialist. No further information. I’m freaking out and so disappointed I did this to myself and my baby. Any ladies that can give me some comfort, any one who’s gone through this?

Aside from this I was diagnosed as a beta thalassemia carrier and was told my baby had a 25% chance of having a blood disorder if my husband had it as well. I opted out of the amino due to the risks. I’m just feeling so down, like I failed my baby. I’m 27 weeks btw.
