I was scheduled for a repeat c-section today at 1:30, but baby girl had different plans. I started contracting early morning yesterday, and they progressed as the day went on. I was having them every 3-5 minutes for about 3 hours, so decided to go in. I was dilated, so they kept me, and got me booked for an or (after talking about trying for a VBAC, and deciding against it...). Thank goodness I went for a c-section, because baby girl had swallowed tons of meconium, and had the cord wrapped around her neck two times! Baby girl is doing amazingly well, and I’m so pleased with the experience so far. It’s so much better than last time! Here’s little miss Charlotte Jo!
