Hi, I'm 41 and 13 wks an 5days pregnant...

I have three older children 23...17 and 13 I never had the test to show a possibility for down syndrome for any of them, now I'm 41 I wanted the test..

I got a call today saying I have 1 in 100 chance and if I would like to have further tests...

Will this small percentage be because of my age?

Is this percentage anything to worry about?

If anyone has had this done and had the same or higher results and gave birth to a baby with no signs of downs your advice will be much appreciated xx

A wee update.... I had a detailed scan and everything is fantastic, looks like I had a false positive, I have a very healthy baby boy to look forward to in January 😍😍
