Yes because after laboring for a day and a half I wasnt progressing. Just a few short hours after being administered the epidural I progressed for a 4 to a 10 in 1 hour. It was not in my birth plan but I wouldnt change my delivery looking back

I had not planned to, but I had to be induced and developed preeclampsia. After being in induced labor for 40 hours, the epidural reduced my blood pressure immediately and I delivered less than 2 hrs after the procedure (went from a 5 to crowning in 1.5 hrs). Would do it again, no regrets. The pitocin was no joke, and I spent a lot of my time in what the nurses called “hyperlabor.” In the end, I didn’t have a stroke.
