I love it!!! I honestly don’t see how it’s only masculine. Ellie itself is in the name and it sounds a lot like Charlotte and other double TT/T ending names- Scarlett, Violet, etc. Go for it! I myself would spell it Elliott, Elliette, or Elliotte.
