I’ve recently gotten really close with a man who is going through a divorce. It’s not final yet, but the two of us have decided to pursue a relationship. Because he is still married, this could put the two of us in a difficult situation. I don’t want to cause problems for him when he is fighting for some level of partial custody of his kids, but my parents brought up that this relationship could be viewed and misconstrued as adultery. What do you ladies think?

As an addition to this, he makes me extremely happy. I’ve never been in a relationship where I felt so secure. He knows all of my baggage and still stands by me. He wants me to meet his kids and his family and everything, but I’m scared of not making a wonderful impression.
