Chiropractor during pregnancy?

Hi ladies, 
I just wanted to get some feedback from others who have used a chiropractor during pregnancy and if they had good or bad experiences?!  I just started seeing a chiropractor 2 days ago and have been a little skeptical.. my pelvis is out of alignment which is why I was referred in the first place, but can seeing a chiropractor actually make labor and delivery easier?!  Any feedback would be much appreciated for this first time momma!

I would say that thats a question for your ob. Chiropractors have been known to exaggerate the benefits of their practice, though undoubtedly it can be a great thing for people with legitimate issues. (I've heard of chiropractors who will 'adjust' newborns with no medical reason... their bones are so soft, thats terrifying.) I would consider it myself, I do have a lot of back and hip pain, but I would get a referral from your ob, or another trusted doctor.

I've used a chiropractor since I was in a bad accident at 12 yrs old. Pregnancy #3 and still going. Physical therapy is probably a good idea too. My therapist was just telling me that he can teach me to pop mine back if it goes out.

I am using one currently. I was sure to look for recommendations for a chiro who has the certification to work on preggos

OMG YES!!!🙌🙌🙌🙌 With my first pregnancy I worked at a chiropractors office. I would get adjusted at least twice a week. and i always felt amazing and had a great labor. This second pregnancy i have all sorts of pains and discomfort. I moved to a new state so unfortunately i can't see him anymore. and my insurance that ihave now doesn't cover visits. but i would go again is i could afford it

I have to see a Chiro during my pregnancies bc of my hips and all the pain and looseness I have there. I’ve only birthed one baby so far so I don’t know how it helped birth persay, but it kept pelvis pain at bay for the most part. This pregnancy however, my pelvic pain is way worse and the Chiro keeps putting my hips back into place but the pain is still lingering 😳😱😭
