Will I go early?

So I’m 36 weeks and 1 day, I had a doctors appointment and they told me I was 80% effaced and dilated 2 cm... does this mean I’ll most likely go before due date?

not necessarily. some women will stay at the same dilation for weeks.

I’m learning that everyone is different and I’ve stopped tryin fri figure out when my baby might come. You could go from 0 to 100mph straight into labor with nothing happening down there... so just waiting and seeing when baby girl decides to come out! I’ve lost too much sleep trying to figure it out. Feeling less stressed about it. Or trying to at least.

I was 3cm at 36 weeks with my daughter... nothing happened. Lol I went into labor with her at 38+6.. but who knows!’ Everyone’s different.

I've been dilated to a 1 since 29 weeks. I'm 36 tomorrow, no effacement yet, so maybe it means your body and babys more ready!! good luck!!

At 33 weeks I was 2cms and at 36 I was 4cms and have stayed there since. My doctor said it wasn’t any indication of going into labor early.

I just got checked today I am 36 weeks. I am 50% effaced and 1 cm. she said it could mean soon or 3 weeks from now??? so not sure

Just this past Tuesday I was at a 2. today I am at a 4, still not thinned out though. but my dr say it's getting close

I have been dilated since my 35 week checkup. I was 3cm and 60% effaced. I am now 37 weeks and 5 days and 4cm 80% effaced.

Will I go early?
