My vagina itches during period?

I’m assuming it’s from the tampon string, because what itches is only the Labia minora. I use unscented ones because I know that can irritate it more. But it’s been 4 days since my period ended and it still itches. This has happened before but went away after a day or so my period stopped.. I’m just wondering if any of you ladies had a similar thing happen to you, maybe I need to go to the doctor? I don’t want to go to one if I have too..

If u must use tampons. Use the organic ones

Tampons should not itch you, if they do and you are 1000% sure stop using them. Use pads, I cannot stress that more as since it’s been 4 days I highly doubt it’s the tampons. But my thoughts are that this is a uti or a yeast infection but I definitely think you should go to the doctor.
