Bleeding on Nuvaring?

Here’s the thing. I had an abortion on 7/11, a little more than three weeks ago, bled for like 3 hours then it stopped. I inserted the ring for the first time 4 days later and everything was fine.

Two weeks after the procedure I had sex with my bf and started bleeding the morning after. I figured maybe it was just vaginal tearing and I decided to wait it out. It’s been ten days.

The flow goes from black to brown to dark red to brown again, no cramping or any other symptoms. I’m bleeding enough that I need to use pantyliners and/or pads.

Has anyone had a similar problem? If so how did it resolve?

I’d been bleeding for more than a month before my abortion so I’ve basically only had a two-week break from bleeding (not spotting) in the past two months.

I’m thinking of taking it out now. I’m so done. What’s the point of being on this BC if I have no sex life because of it??
