FREE Natural and Artifical Insemination forums/websites ethical?

so i was watching this YouTube documentary about Free donor sites or Free donor communities and i was absolutely blown away. 
so from what i was watching, there is sites a person/couple can go on to either be a sperm donor or someone who is looking for a donor to communicate and solicit services for sperm. the couples who are seeking donors have the option to choose from donor who are willing to naturally inseminate (unprotected sex) and those who prefer Artifical insemination (using a steril up and syringe).
im not exactly sure about the sites regulations or screening process from what i saw it was basically word of mouth. a good donor would have a lot of referrals such as and labels such as Ai or NI donor, clean, discrete, and  successful insemination. 
There was this 2 couples and donor that stood out to me. 
COUPLE&DONOR; (A)- lesbian couple, specifically looking for a AI only donor. And found one, only to later learn they did not conceive and the donor was also open to NI and was donating to multiple couples at once decreasing his sperm count essentially. Not only that Donor A was married and his wife had no clue about his over 60 donations and 40 successful inseminations. And preferred to meet discretely. In one of the meetings the women parked outside his house and received the cup curbside. 
COUPLE & DONOR (B)-lesbian couple, chose a NI donor, the donor came highly reccomended. When the donor had his interview he said he only provides NI because the chances of success are greater, and the bonus "free sex". The couple was fully aware that NI donors enjoy the sex but becoming pregnant was more of their concern obviously there would be no excitement for them sexually. 
Now my main question is this, is this even remotely ethical? 
I understand IVF is crazy expensive, but i really question the safety behind this. These womb-an are potentially exposing themselves to untested disease carriers, unregulated donors etc. And the donors are willingly impregnating someone with the full intent of never seeing that child ever, or without any legal protection from their donation.

If both parties involved consent I think it’s fine. If they are willing to subject themselves to the risks I see no reason for it to be outlawed. That being said I would never do it.

I’d never do it. When you’re pregnant obviously STIs can affect the baby, so I would be concerned about having unprotected sex with someone I didn’t know and running that risk. Then again, I’ve never had to experience infertility or pay for expensive treatments, so it’s easy for me to say “never”.

I mean, they are all consenting adults. So to them it’s ethical I guess. I think it doesn’t matter. They all want to do it, they are all comfortable with the “free sex”. Then the couple gets the baby they want. While I’m sure it would be better and a safer option to go the IVF route, it’s so expensive. Maybe this is more adorable for them right now? I knew people did this, I just never really thought of it until now! Cool topic!

It's way safer than a lot of sex encounters, no less safe at least than one night stand deals of unprotected sex. Not saying that it's not dangerous by any means but I don't see how it's unethical.

I see a lot of risks and issues with this. Such as health hazards, lack of quality control, lack of understanding of proper storage of semen, legal concerns, etc. But ultimately the people involved are consenting and should realize this method is not going to be regulated and protected legally in the same way it would going through traditional channels. They consent so they’re accepting the risks. I think it’s a crazy thing to do, but adults are free to do as they want.

If it’s free I can’t imagine they undergo the testing they should. Not only for diseases but for genetic abnormalities. As someone with a chromosome disorder this would be a horrible choice. IVF is expensive partly because of all the testing and screening that happens to ween out the bad eggs.

Dudes WIFE doesn’t know about him being a sperm donor?! He’s cheating on her in a way, being a lying piece of shit regardless of what good comes of it is NOT okay. I know multiple lesbians and straight couples that have used donors, only one of them used the natural insemination, they did it because they didn’t have enough money for the artificial insemination and they weren’t financially stable or even legally old enough to get artificially inseminated in the United States. 
If having sex really brought sperm numbers down so much, I don’t believe my rabbit like grandparents would have been able to have 15 healthy children in less than 17 years 🤷‍♀️

I looked into NI a while back.  I did not go through with it, but I see no ethical issues with it. I would not knowingly work with a donor that was deceitful with his spouse about it though.
