Unique baby shower gift ideas?

My sister is due in November (yay I’m gonna be an aunt!!) and her baby shower is September 22.
This being her first child she’s bought herself almost EVERYTHING! From bottles to baby carriers you name it! She’s getting hand me down stuff from my son like a swing, portable bassinet etc. 
I’m drawing a blank on stuff I wish I had when my son was newborn-infant. I don’t plan to shop til after I see what she gets but any unique ideas?
She doesn’t plan on finding out the gender so needs to come in gender neutral colors!

You could find out which brand of diapers she plans on using and you could make her a diaper cake. Put her favorite kind of wine/alcohol in the middle so it’s a surprise for
Mommy when she’s taking apart the diaper cake. 
I make diaper cakes and load them with whatever little items are on their registry (spoons, socks, pacifiers, rattle, bibs, etc).

when I had my daughter I got two, so handy.
they had kid bandaids, a thermometer, nose sucker, Sun screen, baby afterbite, vasiline/lotion, soothers, diaper rash cream, soap, shampoo, Tylenol ect 
basically everything you need for baby, that no one else gets, and you don't think of as a new mom! it was so nice to get something other than blankets or clothes.

you can get her a mommy gift! like a basket with stuff she likes for mommy time, every mom needs that. i got a coworker like spa inspired stuff, bath stuff, nailpolish, etc. i wrote a card like “happy baby shower, dont forget to take care of mom too, happy mommy, happy baby!”

It’s not unique but diapers and wipes are always appreciated! Or maybe food gift cards for when she first gets out of the hospital so she doesn’t have to cook. Also necessities like baby shampoo, lotion, desetin, rectal thermometer...
