Has anyone had severe sciatic nerve pinching?

I walked a far distant in bad shoes last night and now I’m totally f-ed.  My sciatic is getting pinched causing sharp shooting pain in my left butt cheek to the point where I can barely walk and I literally cry out in agony if I move the wrong way. 😢 Help! Any tips or advice on how to manage this would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same thing, severe pain at 12 weeks to 24. Went to a chiropractor and it’s been better ever since! I found out I have really mild scoliosis (which is super common) and one foot/leg was taking all my weight. She adjusted me and since then helps with other pains that come up with pregnancy. Not as expensive as I thought either, highly recommend it!

Chiropractor!! I’ve had a few days where I could barely walk, and my office is not on first floor (and of course there’s no elevator). The chiro helps immensely, along with stretching, heating pad, and massaging it out. I’ve made my husband do a massage or I’ve used a tennis ball against a wall.

I get that from time to time myself, a heating pad helped me tremendously!! I just set it under my butt for a long period of time and it helps! good luck and hope my advice helps you too

My midwife told me go to the chiropractor because I was having numbness all down my leg because of sciatic nerve pinching. I went once and I swear he cured all the years of heavy backpacks in high school and college plus sciatic nerve pinching
