How do you deal with being constipated and having hemorrhoids? Do you take or use anything to help.

Eat dates and things high in fiber like watermelon, drink lots of fluids. I’ve also taken a women’s one-a-day probiotic which seems to help me stay regular.

I drink a small amount of prune juice every day to keep from being constipated and I use wet wipes instead of toilet paper. Also I try to avoid sitting upright for too long

When I was pregnant with my first, the only thing the doctors would prescribe is some magnesium tablets to soften the stool and make me go. There was also on OTC steroid cream I was recommended to buy to put over the hemorrhoids. I can’t remember the brand but anyway it was a magical cream, no pain, no itchiness.
