How many diapers does your kid go through in a day?

I’m trying to get a feel for what to expect when little nugget gets here :)

Answer

For the first month, plan on 12-14 diapers a day. 
Then about 10 diapers a day till about 4ish months. 
Then about 8 diapers a day till a year or so.
My daughter does about 6-8 diapers a day now and she’s nearly two years old. 
If you’re stocking up, I’d recommend:
Newborn: about 100 (they grow out of these really quickly don’t get too many). 
Sizes one and two: about 500 each (this won’t get you through the whole stage but is a good start) 
I wouldn’t stock up on anything else because you’ll run out of space! Sign up for amazon subscription and it’s automatically delivered each month plus a 20% discount.

Depends on the newborn. My son has little poop squirts every feed or more. He went through 15ish diapers a day (24 hours) for the first month I think. He is still quite the pooper at about 3-5x a day so we go through about 6ish diapers a day at 11.5mo

A newborn pretty much needs changed with each feed. Lots of pee and poop when they are tiny. As they get older they don't need changed as often , as they start to learn how to hold it.
