Question

Is your first appointment -your ob appointment along with ultrasound?
Or do you have an ultrasound appt and a separate ob appt? 
My doctors office is so confusing. I’m halfway through week 8 and my initial ob/ultrasound appt isn’t till week 10.5
The pa said she can refer me to radiology to get an ultrasound any time. When I ask if it’s the same thing as getting an ultrasound at my ob appt they don’t say. They just said they have an ultrasound machine at their office.

you basically go 1st trimester, ultrasound,  second  trimester, gestational diabetes testing, third trimester ultrasound to see babys positioning and toward the end theyll wanna see you once or twice a week to check your cervix until your due date. you dont get many ultrasounds unless you're a high risk pregnancy, i think they do 2 total, one early on and one when baby is a little further along. i had a few because I was high risk. def double check with your drs office as many do things a little different.  i hope this helps 😘

that's pretty typical. 1st youll go in to confirm pregnancy and by then you're around 4-6weeks ( just a guideline)  usually 10-12 weeks they can do an ultrasound and tell you how well the baby is forming inside your belly,  theyll look at the spine,youll see little hands and feet maybe even a tiny face🤩, they'll also Tell you gender of your baby if you wish to know. its hard to wait lol😘. im anxious myself im 6 weeks and i go to just confirm pregnancy in a week lol.
