Crib bumpers?

I’ve read a lot about crib bumpers being unsafe for baby. But am I missing something? Crib skirt, mattress, and crib sheet only

I’m getting an organic/non-toxic waterproof mattress cover. Want to keep that mattress clean from midnight blowouts!

you can get mesh bumpers which are breathable , I'm getting those so my daughter wont get a leg or an arm stuck within the rails.

Nothing in the crib is safe. Baby can have blanket or toy after one year at parents discretion.

Don’t even need a skirt. It’s just for aesthetic. But yes all baby needs is a mattress and a fitted sheet.
