When can I take my newborn for a walk?

My daughter is almost 2 weeks old and I am dying to go for a walk! No one will be touching her and I will make sure she is dressed accordingly to the weather. When did you guys take your little ones for a walk?

I took my daughter out for walks when she was 2 days old... right after we got home from the hospital... no need to sit inside all day.

I asked the pediatrician that question at the 2 day old appointment and he said I could that day if I wanted. He just said to make sure she's dressed for the weather and doesn't get sunburned.

Just keep baby protected from sun with a shade and maybe a mosquito net for the stroller-they are cheap. And make sure temperature isn’t too hot or too cold and you’re fine.

When ever you want. Just go slow and don’t go far. I walked around too much when I first had him and it made me bleed more.

1 week old I took my son on a walk, I had to get out of the house and get some fresh air I was losing my mind, I used a chest carrier and he loved it

Baby will be fine (just keep sun off LO) just don’t over do it! You’ve been through a lot & your body needs to heal. Don’t be surprised if you can’t make it very far

I was too exhausted to go for a walk in the beginning. Now it’s too freaking hot and when it’s cool in the evening there are mosquitos galore. I’m waiting til fall! Lol

I told my son out two days after he was born because my husband had to work due to snow and us living round the corner and I need to go get milk for me for a cuppa and tea bags
