so yesterday i had a sweep done. after i lost like a half inch of mucus plug. than today i lost 2 inch almost 3 inch long mucus plug. than a couple hours later i lost an other inch of plug. will labor start soon? my due date is aug 6th

Statistically a sweep has a 25% chance of putting you in labor within 48 hours. Losing your mucus plug is not an indicator of labor starting. As you can lose it and have it regrow multiple times during pregnancy

not necessarily. it could still be weeks (of course depending on how far along you are)

I had a sweep done at 40+3. I lost my mucus plug the next day. (40+4) Within 20 minutes I was having contractions. I labored for 19 hours and had an emergency c-section (40+5). The sweep seemed to help me, but it could have been that I was over my due date as well?
