Right...so, two days ago I had acute pain during sex. It’s never happened before and I usually enjoy deep penetration. We had to stop because I am thought I was going to be sick. As he is fairly well endowed, I’m used to the sensation of him hitting my cervix, especially when it is low. This was a whole new level of pain!

This didn’t subside for 45 minutes and eventually got better throughout the day, I still felt very tender. My doctor said he would arrange an urgent ultrasound but didn’t say why? He asked if I was pregnant and told him that I was approximately 5dpo (potentially 6/7) and we use the withdrawal method. We know it’s unreliable and are prepared for the consequences but i doubt the I am pregnant as it would have to be from pre cum. I have a 33 day cycle. I am still really bloated and a bit tender, having headaches, hot flushes, very tearful. AF is due in 7 days.

Me and my partner are STI free and I don’t have thrush. 

1. Any ideas what caused this awful pains?

2. I’m really nervous to have sex again incase I get pain, how can I get over this?
