Plans being ditch by boyfriend

So me and my bf just started dating , been about a week. He said yesterday he’d pick me up around 1 once I got ready and stuff. I woke this morning around 11 and didn’t hear my phone go off until 12. He texted me saying that he’s going boating with his friends and we’ll just see each other later. I’m pretty mad ngl, I’m a super petty girl but I just said ok and stopped responding. I don’t wanna hangout with him once he gets back. What should I do? Should I stop being petty and let it be ?
