So I'm thinking this is something I should talk to my midwife about, but my next appointment is still ten days away and it's not urgent, so here I am!

My sister went into preterm labor with three of her five kids (only didn't with the last two because she was being treated as high risk).

Should I be worried that this will happen with me, too, or is it not something that's hereditary? My mom didn't have this issue, and none of the other women in my extended family did either that I know of.

Any insight would be helpful!
