First time taking anxiety pills

So today i went to urgent care for severe panic attacks and my doctor gave me alprazolam 0.25mg and its my first time getting any pills like this , has anybody else taken these pills how do they make you feel and are there any bad side effects ?! I havent taken any yet bc im to scared of how my body is gonna react
