When did you let your baby use a blanket?

I’m wondering at what age did you let your child sleep with a blanket at night?

I’ll use a sleeping bag instead of a blanket until 1,5~2 years. I do have baby blankets for in the stroller and the car seat when we’re out but for the bed the sleeping bag will be more than fine.

I’m going to follow this. My kiddo is almost 15 months old and we still don’t use one because I read it’s best to wait until 2-3 years old but I see in the comments people do it much younger. Ours hates blankets though. He won’t tolerate anything over his legs. He kicks them off violently. Lol. We just make sure his pajamas and room temperature are adequate to keep him comfortable without a blanket. He also constantly changes positions all over the crib all night long. He’ll start at one end of the crib and I check the monitor and his head will be where his feet were etc. and back and forth all night long. Blankets would only get in his way and he’d be on top of them. I’m now realizing why his movements during my pregnancy were so painful! Lol.

just past a year. now that's hes almost two ge has like 3 blankets and stuffed animals that he NEEEDS every night. lol

my oldest two used them by 4 months my youngest is 14 months and has only used one like 3 times since turning a year she just prefers wearing a fleece sleeper vs having a blanket

My little one sleeps in her sleeping bag at night without a blanket but has one for her daytime naps and never pulls it up her face. She’s 5 months old. Be sure to tuck the sides in so no loose ends.

when she grew out of her zipadee zip and I didn't want to buy the next size up. about 9 months old.

4.5 months, when daycare started using it. He can roll both ways and is very mobile. We use very small baby blankets only
