Falling asleep on own

Figured I’d ask here since we’re all bottle feeding & breastfed babies seem to have different sleeping habits.

My son will be 3 months on August 20. He has no problem falling asleep on his own at night (and in his bassinet), but during the day for naps he will not go down unless on someone’s chest and then moved. (Or if he’s in the car/stroller).

Does anyone have this issue?? I’m so thankful he goes down at night easily but this mama needs a break during the day. His first month if he was exhausted while playing on his mats, he’d fall asleep there. Now he will cry and cry until he’s “put” to sleep by someone.

Any ideas or similar stories would be appreciated. :)
