why is adult female friendship so hard

Ashley

so I'm 25. pregnant with my second child. engaged. very stable and what some may consider boring life. lol I was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, had multiple surgeries and radiation. during that time being a new mom and going through that I had literally lost every single person in my life, other than my grandmother and fiance.

unfortunately because of the medication I cant drink at all, I get crazy sick, we are a sober house hold because my fiance is 7 year recovered addict... we are "boring" no bars because we feel it's a waste of money... no clubbing.. so we dont get to do much, or seems like that's all anyone wants to do.

when I have renewed friendships with old school friends (I moved into a house in my old neighborhood) they seem to talk to us for a brief time and then never speak with me again.. idk what to do anymore. I wish making friends would be easy.. or I could find someone with similar interests..

what could I do to help make friends?
