Work Study for students

Did you do work study in college? Yes or no? Why or why not?

I just received my financial aid package and I have 2,032 every semester from the Pell grant (besides summer.) I am eligible to receive $2,000 for Work study, plus loans. I don’t want to take out any loans unless absolutely necessary and maybe if I choose to take summer 2019 courses. I work 30 hours per week already to take care of household expenses so I’m not sure if I should do work study. Any insight for those who’ve done work study at university or in college?
