16 it was for acne. I gained all kinds of weight and didn’t have much sex drive at all. When i went off it at 22 my weight all shed off and i rediscovered my sexy. My mood balanced and i started feeling generally happy about life! Birth control affects everyone differently. It made my skin controllable (which i later found was WAY easier to do with a healthy diet)! But it was not worth the risks, and the bitchy, overweight and uninterested in sex person i became for all of those years that i will not get back. All that time i thought it was just “me”.

I had to be about 13/14 but i took it because i had terrible acne, i didn’t lose my virginity until after high school.

I was 13, I had horrible periods. I’d bleed for 7 days, I’d end up taking almost 8 ibuprofens a day, and I’d be anemic at the end sometimes.
I switched to the Nexplanon after I turned 17, I’m shitty with daily pills and they were annoying because of that so I switched.

Started with the implant, way too unorganized to remember to take a pill every day. Now at 29i finally got the pill, between baby nr 1and hopefully nr2.
