Spitting up?

My baby is on Similac pro Sensitive, & since today I’ve fed him 3 oz & everytime I burp him he spits up its also chunky & watery, I tried cutting him off at 2 oz but he’s still hungry. Is that normal? Should I continue feeding him 3 oz? He isn’t in pain, he doesn’t look uncomfortable to me. It just worries me that if he’s spitting up he won’t be getting what he needs from the feeding.

How much is he spitting up? Some kids spit up a lot. My son always did. As long as they are gaining weight and it’s not projectile vomiting I wouldn’t be too concerned. Definitely keep upright after you feed and maybe feed slower? Wait a few minutes after each ounce

I’d try burping him between ounces, and maybe try an anti-colic bottle if you’re not currently using one. If that fails id bring it up to your doctor you may have to switch formula. My recommendation would be Enfamil gentlease

UPDATE: I’ve been overfeeding my baby, I’m keeping him at 2.5 oz & since last night he hasn’t spit up. Babies really come with no instructions, but I think I’m getting the hang of it 😬

Does he have lactose sensitivity? The pro sensitive is made specifically for lactose issues. My boy had some tummy issues, and we use pro total comfort which is made for tummy problems. He has had way less issues since switching.
