Left kidney pain in my back...?

So this morning I woke up with pretty bad aches in my kidney area, but I haven’t had pain when peeing but I have to push to pee if that makes sense? My husband asked around his shop (a couple of his supervisors and coworkers have had kids and/or used to be in the medical field) and they said it might be a UTI. I know pregnant women are more prone to them, and they don’t always present with symptoms so I’m worried that if it was/is a UTI that it may have travelled up to my kidney? I’m 13+2 and haven’t experienced this before, but it’s not regular back pain/aches either, this is more focused and painful on my left kidney. I’m so confused about it, my husband wants to take me to the ER to rule out anything since he works 12 hour shifts and takes the car so I would have no way of going to the doctor if I needed to.

if you have no fever it’s probably not a kidney infection but could definitely be working it’s way there, probably a bladder infection, definitely go get checked and get antibiotics so you can stop it from reaching the kidneys if its not already there!

i jad a kidney infection when i was pregnant once, totally possible.  If you pound on your back in that area do you get a pain? If so its very likely an infection.  I was in my 7th month,  not sure if it makes a difference in treatment but ineas admitted over night and pumped full of fluids and antibiotics.
