Dentist?

Have you guys taken your little ones to the dentist yet? My baby girl has so much teeth now and I’m not sure when it is the right time for me to take her. I seen people say at 2 or they started at 9 months, but I feel like 2 is too late?

I'm that horrible mom who waited til my son was 5 before we went. His teeth were perfect and the dentists around us want $200 for a child's cleaning which I think is ridiculous. We just stress good dental hygiene and brush and floss 2-3x a day.

There's no way my son would let a dentist look at his teeth yet. He barely even lets me help him brush them.

We went in January and had a free consultation where we just talked about weaning off bottles, tips for brushing teeth and the order teeth would come in. The dental hygienist told me we didn’t need to come back for an actual cleaning until 2 but to keep the dentist in mind if he has any bad mouth falls/check for any abscesses or ulcers regularly since toddlers do fall a lot.

We went to his second appt today it went well  overall but she said he had plaque buildind which cause gum swallowing- we still breasfeed 19 moths so she want me to brush more

We are going to call the dentist and ask them but my daughter has all her teeth with the exception of her two year molars

I think it’s recommended at soon as they start to get teeth, not necessary for a cleaning but more to get them used to it so they won’t be scared. I haven’t taken my girl yet but I know I probably should soon!

We haven't yet but I think it'll be soon. I have an appointment on Thursday and I'm going to ask them when we should bring her in. She has 12 teeth now.

my daughter I only has 6 teeth and she has an appointment Friday. I am just worried cause I think she may have a lip tie and still at 18 months o oh has 6 teeth. I think going early ia just to get them used to the idea.
