Would you want to know?

My grandma had an affair with a man when she was younger and had my dad with him, but this man had a wife and other kids. 
My question is would you want to know that you have a long lost family member? I just recently found them on Facebook and I’m debating on messaging

No, not if it’s long gone. Plus if he’s passed what’s the point other than to being up old pain, idk I personally wouldn’t want to know

If it were me, I wouldn’t do it. They’ve got their own family, and I would have mine. I wouldn’t see the point 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just recently found out that my dad has a son that’s around my age. The mother of the child hid it from my dad and told him she’d miscarried. I have no intentions on meeting him. I have my dad, and he has a man he considers to be his dad. No point in confusing everybody.
