How to buy a bra that fits well?

I am quite heavy and have never been able to buy a bra that fits well. My breasts tend to droop because they’re so heavy. Any recommendations? Underwire no wire? What type of bra? How should I measure myself etc?

I went to a place called 'Bra Genie' and they were extremely helpful in helping me find bras and getting fitted properly.  It's really better if you can get someone to professionally fit you especially that first time.  I went from wearing a 36DDD to a 34H and finally felt like my bra actually fit me for the first time.
