If I nickname my daughter Lola, short for Gwendolyn. Idk if that even makes sense. But I love both names. Should I just save Lola for my second daughter (if I have one)

It doesn't really make sense to me. When I hear Gwendolyn I think of nicknames like Gwen, Wendy even Lyn, but in the end it's your decision. You could always use one was a middle name if you like both?

I could get Lola from Gwendolyn. Lola is a strange middle name for Gwendolyn in my opinion. I feel like it needs a very strong, vintage name! Call your baby what you want! Who cares! Love the name btw💗

The nickname can still be Lola. My cousin is 14 and his nickname isn’t his first, middle or last. And he loves his nickname.
