So whenever I took my first pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant, my boyfriend was sitting on the couch and I ran straight to him with the test in my hand. He was really happy, even started crying. But since it was an immediate thing, i didn't really get to announce it to him in a special way. Through this pregnancy, we've been very curious about the gender and cant wait to find out what we'll be having. So... when I have the ultrasound to find out if it's a girl or boy, I dont want him there. Dont get me wrong, I'll talk to him and see how he feels about it first, and if he really wants to be there, then of course he can come. But the point is, I want to surprise him with a gender reveal, along with the rest of the family, since I didn't get to surprise him with a general cute little 'I'm pregnant!' announcement. Is this wrong since hell be finding out with the rest of the family, or do you think it would be cute? I want opinions before I talk to him about it because I dont want to hurt his feelings if it seems out of line. Please dont judge me. It's just an idea.

Edit. I will be going with the both surprised route to be fair😊. I didn't know you could set up the gender reveal party without knowing, since I'd be the one doing it. That's why I thought I'd have to know first. But thank you all. We will all be very surprised at the party!
