Birth Control?

I've 18 and have recently become sexual active. We use condoms but I would also like to be on birth control just to be safe, but I don't have any kind of health insurance and money is pretty tight for my family. Is there a way I can get on birth control? I've been looking at an IUD because I don't want all the hormones. Please help!

An IUD is gonna be pretty expensive without insurance because a doctor has to put it in and take it out which requires an appt. plus whatever they charge you for the IUD itself. I suggest finding a planned parenthood and going to one, and taking a pill because they’re the cheapest if you’re worried about finances. I paid like $27 every 3 months for my pill. Good luck!

I believe birth control is free. It was for me when I was on it years ago. Just talk to your dr.
