No compliments.. ever?🤷🏻‍♀️

So basically my boyfriend says he’s uncomfortable with giving compliments.. he knows I’m really trying to get past my insecurities but sometimes a pick me up go such a long way.. but he refuses.. yes I’ve talked him about it, I love him.. don’t really know what to do, some days I struggle even when I try my best to stay positive and change my mind set

So my husband is not the type of person to give a lot of compliments but I have told him that I really need it. So because he loves me he tries really hard to compliment me every day.
So I think when we truly love somebody we do things that we wouldn't otherwise, just to see the person happy.

I have a hard time as well. I feel extremely awkward and uncomfortable, I’ve definitely gotten better but I do rely heavily on other ways to show him. Does he show it in other ways?

I think it’s also on him to figure out what his issues are with paying you a compliment.  It’s not unreasonable to for you to feel loved through compliments and words of affection.
