Is your baby walking yet ?

I feel like everyone tells me that their babies started walking before their first birthday and my  daughters just not there yet & will be one in about a week. I know she’ll walk when she’s ready but I’m so anxious! She cries every time I try to make her stand on her own or walk holding her arms 🤦🏻‍♀️ such a drama queen !

My daughter is walking/running. But it took her at least a month of taking a few steps and squatting to get to that point.

Walking on their own? My thought was most babies walk after they’re 1... some before. My son walks with help and with a walker but not on his own. He turned 1 last week. He pediatrician wasn’t worried - bc she said they usually don’t until after 1.

Anywhere between 12-16 months is average.

my son will walk 3 steps and then squat down, he definitely uses me as a training wheel lol they will get there when we least expect it!

My daughter's birthday is the 19th, and she's definitely starting to prefer walking to crawling, but still falls over pretty often so she's not 100% walking yet. Definitely what I'd call "toddling" at the moment.
