I went into my appointment with my gyno who told me my blood work was showing preeclamsia and that I need to go to the hospital that day to be induced. The induction started around 4pm July 26, 2018. They put me on oxytocin and checked back after 12 hours to find I was only 1cm dialated. Then they used balloons to push me to 5 cm after 6 hours. I was on the oxytocin and still not moving further through so they took me off too see if I would dilate on my own. Eventually I got to 7cm and my water broke on it’s own. But sadly I stayed right there. By the time the doctors decided it was a failed induction, I was 46 hours into the process. My cesarean took about two hours and my healthy baby boy named Jameson cake into this world weighing 7lbs 5 oz and his height was 19 inches. Once we got back to the delivering room, the doctors gave me time to rest. Then they began scrapping clots out of my uterus. The doctors thought it was all over but as soon as they walked out of the room I felt a rush of something and the nurse slammed the emergency button. I had doctors and nurses flying into the room and they were back at scrapping giant clots out of my uterus. By the time they were done with that I had lost 3 liters of blood and needed two blood transfusions. My total stay in the hospital was one week. And right now it’s been 10 days since my cesarean and I have an infection in the incision
