When did you stop working?

Question

With my singleton I worked until I went into labor.  With twins not so sure.
If you have a desk job, when did you stop working?  Was there a particular medical reason?

I went off work at 32 weeks. I work a desk job but I was super uncomfortable and to be honest, my work was ready for me to leave! They had me covered for over a month and asked me daily if I wanted to stop working! I work in HR and knew I would be accepted for short term disability and then can start my 18 month leave when the babies are here.

32 weeks, and that was the right time for me to stop. I have an office job but the commute every day was hard, and I was getting a very sore back from sitting all day and badly swollen feet. 
It may also depend on how much maternity leave you’re getting. If I only had a few weeks I would have worked longer, but as i can take over a year off, finishing a little early didn’t really make a difference.

I worked until 32 weeks. Babies were healthy but I was suffering a lot. I developed sleep apnea and wasn’t sleeping hardly at all. I have a semi desk job...sometimes I sit but I also have a to stand a lot of the day. I was having a hard time working after 28 weeks or so. I felt SO much better being at home and I think it helped me get to 38 weeks 👍🏻

I planned to work all the way up until I had them. Boy was I dumb..ha I made it to 32 weeks. Dr took me out due to hypertension and low birth weight of one of the babies. I got short term disability so it’s not cutting into maternity leave.

I have a desk job and worked up until the day I had them at 37+6. I was scheduled the next day for a c section but went into labor on my own the day before. The last week I did work from home rather than going into the office, sitting at my desk and walking to meetings became rough at the end.

I worked up until the day they started my induction at 37+6. I work in a hospital, so I literally clocked out and checked into L&D.; 
I have a mainly office job, but spend a lot of time on my feet. I tried to be smart about that stuff, get up and stretch, work from home when I could, etc. I figured I could be sore and tired at home, using up my FMLA, or I could be sore and tired while making money. It just seemed like a better way to pass my time in the absence of an actually medical concern.

With my twins, I went into preterm labor around 23 weeks. I was put on bedrest and not able to work after that. I managed to keep them in until 36+3!

I wanted to work longer but got admitted into the hospital at 33 weeks and was put on bed rest. I am currently out of the hospital but not allowed to return to work until after my maternity leave. 
So mine was 33 weeks.

Don’t have twins, but I would work up until I felt I couldn’t anymore, my last I worked until the day before I went into labor, I walk 4 miles a day and super stressful job and was working full time, I remember going home every day thinking why in the hell dod I say o would work until my due date...but if I was prego with twins I would hold out as long as possible still
