Did you plan baby for a certain month or just let it happen

I’m a teacher so I wanted to have a baby in the months before or during summer vacation. Started trying in June, got pregnant in October and baby was born during the first week of summer vacation.

I started trying in August because I didn’t want to be pregnant for the hot summer months, and I did end up getting pregnant that month ☺️

Neither. Took 42 times to get pregnant. PCOS, low count, no idea when I ovulate, two failed fertility treatments. Then surprise! We’re 12w4d now!!! Yay!!!

We planned around the time of year we wanted to start trying and the months we didn’t want to have a baby. We knew we wanted to avoid a December or early January baby due to the fact that both my husband and I are December babies and we couldn’t imagine having 3 birthdays, Christmas and New Years

We planned to start trying in December/January (we got pregnant New Year’s Eve!) because we didn’t want another December baby lol 
My first was born December 13th and it was an overwhelming time of year! So many visitors and then trying to make it to all the family gatherings, etc and not to mention when his first birthday hit December felt like a toy overload month! Lol Also we live in Canada and winter months are super cold / snowy and I had cabin fever sitting inside for months! So had we not gotten pregnant in December or January we’d have skipped the next few months! We weren’t in a huge rush as our first had just turned 1 but we were lucky enough to have it happen first try!

I didn’t want to be huge and pregnant through the whole summer like I was with my last baby so I wanted to get pregnant July-August. Jokes on me though cause now I’ve been gross and postpartum through this summer

We started trying in April because I didn’t want to be pregnant in the spring/summer next year because there’s a lot of manual labor to do around our house in those months. Luckily it worked for us and I’m due beginning of March so I should be good to go when it starts warming up.

My husband deploys regularly and we live very far from family.  I don’t want to be alone and giving birth. So before his last deployment (6 months long) I got pregnant and sadly had a miscarriage right before he left. He just got back about 2 months ago and we started trying again. I’m 5 weeks pregnant. If I haven’t been pregnant by next month we would have stopped trying because he might have been gone for the birth.
