AND your 6.5 months pregnant and you get sick. Very annoying... stay home... ugh just venting!

When I worked full time, if I didn’t have the PTO then I would get fired for calling out. I worked there for almost two years and quit because I was working through sickness to the point where I almost had to be hospitalized. Unfortunately it’s not always an option to stay home, especially if a job is on the line or if they are hurting for money. If we lived in a perfect world where everyone could call off for sickness to recover and not worry about their job being there when they return I would completely agree.

The craziest thing, since being pregnant I haven’t been sick. I’m a speech therapist and work in a school so I’m around alllllll kinds of sick adults and kids all year lol. I think it’s my prenatals!

I'm doing my last term in University to become a preschool teacher and need to work for a month at a preschool as part of the program. This means I'll be around little kids during my 8th month of pregnancy during flu season. I'm a little worried :/

Honestly ppl have families.. they can’t always afford a sick day.  Just cause you’re pregnant doesn’t mean they have to stay home kids go to school sick so if they feel up to and not working with patients that it could kill they can go to work.. it’s life.
