So I have this really close guy friend that I recently caught feelings for. We’ve been friends for years but we got much closer recently and for a lot of that time, one or both of us were dating other people. I broke up with my boyfriend of two years in February, and he broke up with his girlfriend of a few months a few weeks ago. He’s always been a really affectionate person but recently he’s been really cuddly with me and we’ve been talking pretty much everyday. We also spent a lot of time together on a mission trip a few weeks ago which was right before he and his ex broke up, but they were already having problems which he and I talked a lot about. I was there for him a lot during his break up and I feel kinda bad about liking him now. I don’t even know if he actually likes me but a mutual friend swears he does. He’s super sweet and always has his arm around me or holds my hand or is just generally close to me when we’re together. Does he actually like me or is it just wishful thinking? And is it too soon after breakups to be thinking about this?
