So frustrated!
Went to the ER tonight- total waste of time!
I’ve had pain in my right shoulder for a couple of weeks now. Starts at the tip of the shoulder and the intensity fluctuates throughout the day. Tonight when I lay down to sleep the pain got so bad it hurt to inhale!
It’s not ectopic or pre-eclampsia.
The doc wanted to do a chest x-ray and said there was “minimal risk to the baby.” I said “if you were pregnant and were in my shoes, would you do an x-ray?” She couldn’t even look me in the eye as she stuttered and hemmed and hawed without giving me an answer. Her whole demeanor while I was there was so distracted and not confident. It was so disheartening.
So now I’m back home, having just taken two more useless Tylenol, about to try to sleep sitting up because that’s the least amount of pain.
This happened with my first pregnancy, too, altho the pain wasn’t this strong.
Anyone else having shoulder pain like this?
