Baby #2 did you resuse baby #1 stuff? My son just turned two

I’m happy I just found out I’m having another boy although I really wanted a girl but I’m excited for my second little man.  Did any moms reuse the stuff they got from their first born ? I feel guilty since I see no need in buying a stroller, swing and some baby clothes. My son just turned 2 so I have A lot of his baby things still. If anything all probably just buy clothes and a new car seat.

Are you joking? That is the BEST PART of having a second baby of the same sex not too far apart lol Ok maybe not the best but one of them!! 
I am PSYCHED that I don’t have to buy anything new. My amazing dad and step mom bought me a stroller that converts to a double stroller right off the get go (and the second seat!) so literally all I need is diapers. (And I still have a few left over of various sizes). It’s the best!!

I have an 18 month old boy and am having another one. I kept EVERYTHING! We wouldn’t have to buy anything this time around, especially since my due date is my sons birthday. I’m sure he will get some new clothes here and there but I am thrilled! We will save so much money 🙌🏼

My first is 6 years older than my second, both girls  I didn’t buy anything new. No need. She’s 2 now and still only gets a few new outfits a year. This one is a boy and I pulled out all the gender neutral stuff from my bins for him to use as well. Plus I traded all my girl clothes for my friends boy clothes so I don’t have to buy anything for him either!

My daughter just turned two on the 18th of July, and I’m 22 weeks pregnant with another girl, and I plan on using most of her stuff , I don’t think it’s a bad thing , of course I’ll buy some new things . But they grow out of everything so quickly I don’t see a point in re buying everything all over again.

I am pregnant with my 3rd boy❤ so I know the feeling of wanting a girl😉 reusing isn't a bad thing! I reused a lot of clothes, carseat, etc for my second boy. although with season differences I did have to buy some clothes, bottles. with my 3rd boy though, I have to buy all new clothes because both boys wore through majority of the clothes.

Why would you feel guilty? It’s pointless to buy everything new again. Our oldest is 3 and I used all that stuff on our 19 month old and I’ll use it again for this baby. I’ve had to buy some clothes just to fill in gaps with size/seasons that were missing but overall everything we had will be reused. Even if it had been a girl I would have reused almost everything. I would have bought some girl clothes but it’s kinda a waste when we already own so many clothes.

There is nothing wrong with reusing the same stuff. I did it with my two boys because they were 16 months apart. My boys are 10 and 9 and I’m pregnant with baby boy number three and wish I could still have all there baby things to reuse. I forgot how expensive everything is. Lol save money while you can momma.

my daughters are 2y2w apart and may babies so I still had all the clothes and reused everything. #2 got some new clothes and shoes here and there cause I didn't want her to only have hand me downs but it was great to not have to buy all new stuff and I got to see all the uber cute lil outfits I got #1 all over again and get my moneys worth out of them. #3 is a boy and a nov/dec baby so pretty much have to start over clothes wise. there are some boy/unisex clothes the other 2 had that can pass down but being a different season sort of limited it. As far as big items of course they will all be reused I invested money in  them for my children not one kid. We got rid of the single stroller when #2 came and got a double which will definitely be used for this kid and #2, trying to train #1 to walk by shopping cart (and in same theory a stroller) now so when baby comes she won't be running off. I will need a new highchair cause after 2 kids I just couldn't get all the lil crevices clean so I chunked it and of course a convertible carseat after he out grows the same infant one both my girls used. But he won't need either of those till around 6mths.

I have a 7 month old son and I’m 17 weeks pregnant. I’m having my second son the day after my first sons birthday so we will be reusing everything!! We just need a double stroller now 🤷🏼‍♀️

We are using the Swing and Pack and Play... maybe a few other miscellaneous items but my first was a boy and this one is a girl... definitely getting a new carseat but that's because we're going right for the Graco 4ever and skipping the infant carrier style... I ended up giving away a few baby items to some mom's that needed them so we don't have a lot left lol
