Genetic testing with twins?!

Just wondering who has done the genetic testing for chromosomal abnormalities for their twins and how the results turned out.  I have been told the results are not as accurate but they can do it for up to two babies.  I’ll be getting it done at 11 weeks.

Which test did you do? My MFM told me to do the blood test along with the NT scan for best results. The integrated sequential screening I believe it’s called. I just got the second set of results yesterday I’m all clear. Chance of Down syndrome was 1 in 30,000 and trisomy 18 was 1 in 50,000.

Took it last week...waiting for the results.
A little more anxious since yesterday (last u.s.) because both my boys have slightly dilated kidneys (ectasia/pyelectasis/hydronephrosis depending on the definition) which could be a soft marker for Down syndrome.
Scientific literature is quite controversial on the subject so we try to stay positive: it’s really just above the norm, present in 2% of the « non affected » population and more common with boys.
In the other hand, both our babies have it, and as they are identical twins, we know that they either both have DS or they both don’t... so the fact that the 4 kidneys are « affected » worries me.
I also have their cardiac ultrasound next Tuesday, which will allow us to see if there is any cardiac defects (far more correlated with genetic disorders). 
Sooo ...waiting anxiously for the test and results coming in the next few days!!!
