Eating!?

How much is everyone’s little one eating?! we’ve been on solids now for a good two month and he seems so uninterested in the bottle/formula now. He hardly takes it and idk what to do!

My son eats a whole tub of puréed fruit in the morning and a vegetable tub at night with 5 bottles of 7/8oz during the 24 hour period and he’s still only 16lbs 6oz at 7 months.

My bub is on the 9th percentile, I would say he drinks around the same as your bub (20oz max) and is loving his solids, can’t get enough of them. Our smaller babies don’t need to drink as much as larger babies. We have a check up in the next few weeks so will see how he is tracking.

My son is 7 months on the 15th and he is taking 5 6 oz bottles a day as well as a 4 oz pouch of baby food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner now.

We were told 4 total tablespoons of solids per day at this age. My little guy would total eat more if allowed. I think they want you to ration it specifically so they will continue nursing/bottles since that is still supposed to be their primary source of calories.

My LO takes 24oz of formula a day, he has 4 bottles of 6oz. He was gaining weight to fast so pediatrician told me to decrease formula (he was taking 30-32oz) and increase solids so he gets solids 3x a day. He seems comfortable and happy on this amount. He LOVES solids but will take a bottle happily still. Do you offer the bottle before solids?
