Giving up

What am I going to do my partner was born with both testicals undesended and did not have the op till he was 3

We have been trying to conceive since Aug 2014 with no luck we started to get worried so both went to see fertility specialist to be told my partner has a very low count of 2 million and to be told that ivf is needed I'm so lost I do however have a 9 year old from a previous relationship all we want is to have a baby together:( his doctor sent of ivf funding for him but it got sent back asking for my self to be in the form this there any hope for us will we have a shot ?????? I feel like I'm going insane month after month negative after negative I have been told I have to go to my doctor to ask if they would consider to put me on the form for ivf .... long shot I know but any things worth a try 😔 any advice would be so helpful right now I feel like I'm in a very dark far away hole 😞😞
