Raw Food Dog Diet?

Question

I want to start doing the raw food thig for my dog, but i have literally no clue where to start. I'm aware of all the benefits of it which is why i wanna do it. Does anyone else feed their dog a raw based diet????

I would recommend calling/visiting a local pet store and asking them about it. There are many kinds you can buy in store that are already fully prepared so you don’t need to worry about your dogs not getting all of their nutrients they need. When my dogs were on raw, it was already prepared with bone and fruits and veggies, and I just added salmon oil.

We’ve considered it for our boy. He’s epileptic and has severe food allergies, but the amount of food he would need to be prepared daily is insane. He’s a massive dog. We only do it on occasion. There are lots of online resources and reading material for feeding raw as far as quantities and what you can use. Make sure you’re feeding appropriately for your dogs ideal weight. Our boy loves raw chicken with the bone (the bone is good for them so long as it’s not cooked). He also loves carrots, diced sweet potatoes, green beans, and peas. And he likes getting fruit too. Bananas, strawberries, etc.

I've feed it to my dogs at times if you're on Facebook you can find dog groups that'll be able to help point you in the right direction as where to start. I will day my one dog does not enjoy anything raw she's a fatty any other time though

My little rescue girl came with us with IBD puking and pooping blood. Scared the crap out of me. We switched her diet to a raw food based diet and she hasn’t had the issue since! It completely changed her, not to mention changed her fur as well! Way softer than it used to be! We were doing raw meat and mixing veggies in with it but now she eats a raw dehydrated food called NRG! I would most definitely look into it and recommend raw to anybody!
