Relationship with 20 year old... need advice lol

So I’m 17 and in a relationship with this guy who turned 20 recently. He was my first kiss, first makeout, etc. but we haven’t had sex yet (we’ve only been together for like 2 months). He’s really sweet and always concerned about overwhelming me or going too fast with things, which I do really appreciate, and he’s made it clear that if we do eventually have sex we’ll be using protection (major plus). I know that right now having sex would technically be illegal anyway so we might just end up waiting until my birthday in April.

I just... idk. I constantly think about the age gap, and the fact that he’ll be leaving for college in a few weeks while I’ll still be a senior in high school. We don’t really get to see each other in person very often bc we don’t really live near each other so we’ve resorted to snapping a lot.

I just wanted to get some opinions. Is it worth maintaining this relationship when I’ll be in college soon and taking my own life path? What do you guys think?
